IS240Duo Motion Sensor by Steinel

The IS240Duo motion sensor by Steinel is an innovative solution for automatically activating lighting. With its advanced technology, this sensor offers a reliable and efficient way to reduce energy costs and enhance safety.

Sensor Features

The IS240Duo is available in both white and black, making it suitable for various environments. This powerful sensor can handle a maximum load of 1000W and is designed to detect even the slightest movements within a 240° circle. With a detection range of up to 12 meters and a rotatable sensor of 160°, the IS240Duo is extremely flexible in use.

Thanks to the infrared sensor that responds to body heat, the chance of unwanted activation from disturbances such as wind, leaves, rain, or snow is minimized. This makes the sensor particularly suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Sensor Settings

One of the key features of the IS240Duo is the ability to adjust the light activation based on ambient light levels. With a convenient adjustment knob, the activation level can be set continuously from 2 lux (for nighttime use) to 2000 lux (for daylight). This ensures that the lighting only activates when truly needed.

After detecting motion, the light remains on for a preset duration. The time setting is variable and can be adjusted from 10 seconds to 15 minutes. Additionally, the range can be continuously reduced to a maximum of 12 meters, ensuring optimal performance at the ideal mounting height of 2 meters.

Additional Features

The IS240Duo comes with a handy corner wall mount, making installation easier. The sensor has an IP rating of IP54, which means it is protected against dust and splashing water. This makes the sensor ideal for use in various weather conditions.

With the IS240Duo motion sensor, you bring home a reliable and efficient solution. Whether it's for illuminating your garden, driveway, or other outdoor spaces, this sensor offers the perfect combination of functionality and ease of use.
