IS1 Motion Sensor White

The IS1 motion sensor from Steinel is an innovative solution for automatically lighting spaces. This sensor, available in a stylish white finish, is designed to provide maximum efficiency in both commercial and residential environments. With a power capacity of up to 500W, the IS1 is perfect for activating lights and other electrical devices, making it a valuable addition to your lighting systems.

Sensor Features

The IS1 detects movements within an impressive arc of 120 degrees and up to a distance of 10 meters. Thanks to the advanced infrared sensor, it responds to the body heat of individuals, ensuring reliable operation. Disturbing influences such as wind, leaves, rain, and snow are effectively excluded, allowing you to rely on accurate detection at all times. Additionally, the sensor is adjustable:it can be set 60 degrees horizontally and 180 degrees vertically, providing optimal alignment to your specific needs.

Sensor Settings

With the convenient adjustment knob, you can set the activation level continuously from 2 lux (for nighttime use) to 2000 lux (for daytime use). After detecting movement, the light remains on for the set duration, with a timing setting that can vary from 8 seconds to 35 minutes. This offers you the flexibility to adapt the lighting to your situation. You can also set the ambient light intensity, ensuring the sensor only activates when truly necessary. Furthermore, the range can be continuously reduced to a maximum of 10 meters, providing additional customization options.

Additional Features

The IS1 has an IP rating of IP54, meaning it is dust and splash water resistant. This makes the sensor highly suitable for use in various environments, both indoors and outdoors. For optimal performance, it is recommended to mount the sensor at a height of 2 meters to achieve the best detection capability.

Benefits of the IS1

• Efficient motion detection up to 10 meters
• Adjustable duration and light intensity
• Robust construction with IP54 protection
