Warranty
The warranty period of products in the LampsTotal web shop varies between 1 and 25 years. All products come with a supplier warranty, with conditions defined by the manufacturer. In addition, you are entitled to legal warranty rights, which mean that the product must meet reasonable expectations of usability and performance.
If your product becomes defective within the warranty period, please contact us as soon as possible. In some cases, we may try to repair the product or replace a specific part. If this is not sufficient, we will provide a replacement or an alternative product.
Please note that many light sources are not covered by warranty due to their sensitivity to energy surges, lightning strikes, or moisture. Warranty also does not apply to products that are damaged due to poor maintenance or incorrect use.
Outdoor lighting used in coastal areas has a reduced warranty period — typically about one third of the standard term. It is essential to maintain outdoor lighting properly, for example, by using stainless steel maintenance products on stainless steel fixtures.
Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, customer service, or product, we sincerely regret this and would like to resolve the issue. Please notify us by contacting our customer service via post, fax, or telephone. For over 50 years, we have strived to offer excellent customer service and we are committed to continuing this standard.
Our customer service team will begin processing your complaint immediately. You will receive a confirmation after submitting your complaint, followed by a response as soon as possible. We aim to reply within one or two working days. In busier periods, it may take up to ten working days. So far, we have always been able to resolve complaints to our customers' satisfaction.
