Warranty

The warranty period of products you can find in the web shop of LampsTotal, varies between 1 and 25 years. All products have a warranty from the supplier with warranty requirements that are determined by the producer. In addition, you can also make use of the legal rights you have, as a user, with us, the seller. Legal warranty implies the product is the object that, or fulfils the functions of what the user can expect it to be or do, within reasonable limits.

Does your product become defective while it is still covered by the warranty period? In that case, we urge you to get in touch with us as soon as possible. In some cases, we will attempt to fix the light or replace a part of the light. If that does not solve the issue, we will offer you a new product or an alternative product.

A lot of light sources will, unfortunately, not be able to be covered by the warranty period, because they are pretty susceptible to energy peaks or could possibly fail because of lightning strikes or moisture. You can also not rely on your warranty period if the product is defective because of a lack of proper maintenance and upkeep.

Outdoor lighting that is used in coastal areas, have a different warranty period, as it is approximately one third of the total warranty period. Please make sure to maintain your outdoor lighting properly, a couple of times per year. You can do this by using the right products, for example: using specific stainless steel maintainance products when maintaining stainless steel lights.

Complaints

Our customer service representatives will immediately start handling your complaint or remark. You will receive a confirmation after you have sent your complaint, and we will provide you with an answer as soon as possible. We try our very hardest in order to try and get back to you within one or two business days. If we are exceptionally busy, a reaction could be delayed to up to ten business days. Up to this day, we have always managed to resolved our customers' complaints for them.
