Sensor IS140-2 Motion Sensor
The IS140-2 motion sensor from the brand Steinel is an advanced solution for automatically activating lighting. This sensor is available in both white and black, allowing it to seamlessly fit into various interior and exterior styles. With a power capacity of up to 1000W, the IS140-2 is suitable for a range of applications.
Sensor Features
The IS140-2 boasts an impressive detection capability. It registers movements within a 180° circle and has a range of up to 14 meters. Thanks to its infrared sensor, it can respond to the body heat of people, preventing unwanted activation from disturbances such as wind, leaves, rain, or snow.
The sensor is designed with user-friendliness in mind. With the rotating sensor, the IS140-2 can turn 180° horizontally and 90° vertically, allowing you to easily adjust the detection direction to your preferences.
Sensor Settings
To ensure that the light only turns on when needed, the IS140-2 offers adjustable settings for ambient light intensity. With a convenient dial, the activation level can be set continuously from 2 lux (for nighttime) to 2000 lux (for daytime). This makes the sensor highly flexible and adaptable to various situations.
After detecting movement, the light remains on for a set duration. The time setting can be adjusted from 8 seconds to 35 minutes, ensuring an optimal user experience. Additionally, the sensor's range can be continuously reduced to a maximum of 14 meters, allowing you to tailor the sensitivity to your specific needs.
Additional Features
The IS140-2 can also be supplied with an angle wall mount, making installation easier. With an IP rating of IP54, the sensor is resistant to dust and splashes, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. For best performance, it is recommended to mount the sensor at a height of 2 meters.
With the IS140-2 motion sensor from Steinel, you bring home a reliable and versatile solution that automatically controls your lighting, ensuring you always have light when you need it.
