IS1 Motion Sensor Black
The IS1 motion sensor from Steinel is an innovative solution for both indoor and outdoor applications. With a detection angle of 120° and a range of up to 10 meters, this sensor detects even the smallest movements. It is designed to ignore disruptive influences such as wind and precipitation, making it reliable in various environments.
Sensor Features
The IS1 is available in black and can handle up to 500W. The infrared sensor responds to the body heat of people and is perfect for monitoring small areas. Thanks to the adjustable lens, the sensor can rotate 30° and 180°, allowing the detection angle to be tailored to individual needs or spatial conditions. The included cover plates enable users to further reduce the detection area.
Sensor Settings
With a user-friendly adjustment knob, the activation level can be continuously set from 2 lux (night) to 2000 lux (day). After detecting movement, the light remains on for the set duration. The time setting is variable from 8 seconds to 35 minutes, allowing the IS1 to be perfectly adapted to the user's specific needs. This ensures that the light only activates when truly necessary.
Additional Features
The IS1 has an IP54 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and splashes of water. For optimal performance, the sensor should be mounted at a height of 2 meters. The spacious and clear connection area makes both wall and ceiling installation simple, and the choice of cables can be freely made.
