Below you will find an overview of all the finishes of the brass, including the meanings: Â PB -> The lamp is polished and then varnished. This keeps the lamp shiny, and cleaning twice a year with a damp cloth is sufficient. If the lamp is placed outside, this is not allowed in the coastal areas. PBUL -> The lamp is only polished and will eventually change color slightly. This can be polished up again if you wish. AB -> After production, the lamp was degreased and put in a chemical bath. This makes the metal look outdated. The metal was then polished to regain some of its natural color. The lamp requires no maintenance to retain its color. ANT -> After production, the lamp is degreased and put in a chemical bath. The finish is grayish bronze and it looks like the lamp has been around for decades. The lamp needs no maintenance to stay that way. N -> After production, the lamp has been degreased and placed in an electric bath to make the material completely free of grease and dust.
