When he was younger, he was particularly interested in different styles of antiques. He had a knack for historic lighting with outdoor 'gas lanterns' - that's how he became passionate about lighting. All of the lights are manufactured using highly qualitative aluminium. The KS lanterns and lampshades are hand-made quality products, which are made of sustainable materials. The fittings are molded. After this, they are flattened and finished, before being chromatised. Finally, the fittings get a powder coating. These treatments ensure a sustainable and pantsered layer of polish, which is resistant to corrosion. The lampshades of these lanterns are made of copper/aluminium and bronze, and are therefore resistant to any kind of weather. The glass of these round shades is standard made of a qualitative synthetic called acrylate. A lot of these KS lights have these. The KS lighting enterprise manufactures fittings for the following style categories: classic, rustic, semi-classic, lively & modern design. With KS lights, you can rely on a five year warranty on the construction of the fitting. With the exclusion of electrical components such as motion sensors, dim switches and light sources - these have a warranty of just six months. The colour of the lights is standard dark green, but can be delivered in the following colours in exchange for a small additional fee: Bordeaux (RAL 3005), blue (RAL 5004), silver aluminium, gold, black (RAL 9005), anthracite and white (RAL 9010).
