To illuminate your garden in the right way, the strength of the lighting is very accurate. Fortunately, you can go in all directions with this Tiga. The light source can be set to different strengths. You can choose 75, 55, 45, 30, 20, or 10 lumens. If your plants are still young, you can put this Tiga on a lower setting. If the plants grow and you need more light, you can adjust this Tiga again to the new situation.
The Lightpro 12 volt system
Simplicity and safety of this 12 volt system, anyone can install this lighting themselves. The entire system, from the 12 volt transformer to the lamp, is designed with screw connections, so you don't need any tools during the installation of this Lightpro lighting. To illuminate your garden attractively and functionally, we advise you to take the following steps:
TIP: Before you determine what lighting you need, it is advisable to make a drawing / sketch of the garden. If you write down the dimensions immediately, it will make things a lot easier in step 3.
1. Decide what you want to highlight
It is important to know in advance what you want to highlight. If there are a number of trees involved, it is best to choose directional spotlights. But you may also want to illuminate the fence or a path. Fortunately, Lightpro has sufficient 12 volt fixtures to properly illuminate your garden and/or veranda.
2. The right transformer for your lighting
Each lamp uses a certain wattage. The sum of all wattages together determines which transformer you need. At Lightpro you will find various 12 volt transformers, each with its own power. When choosing the right transformer, you must take a number of things into account:
- Keep in mind that you always remain 10% below the power of the transformer.
- Also keep in mind that some accessories also have a power output and you must also include this in the sum of all wattages.
- Finally, it may of course happen that you want to expand with 12 volt lighting in the future. It would be a shame if the transformer can no longer handle additional lighting and the transformer also has to be replaced. You can prevent this by choosing a transformer with a higher power so that you are not limited by any expansion.
3. Choose the cable
The Lightpro cables come in different lengths. You can always cut the cable to size and use the remainder to go in different directions in your garden. Extension cables are also available that allow you to place a lamp further away from the main cable. This means you do not have to make a detour with the main cable. A cable is always supplied with each fixture with which it can be connected to the main cable. The length varies per fixture and can be found on the fixture itself.
4. Choose the right accessories
Various accessories are available to complete your Lightpro 12 volt system. A day and night switch is supplied as standard with the two largest transformers. But you can also choose to switch the lighting in an app. For this you use the Lightpro Switch NXT. Various connectors are also available to configure the system according to your own wishes.
